We love all of our clients at onesixeight, and we want to make sure everyone feels at home in our friendly salon. That’s why we’ve set a few basic policies to make sure everyone who walks through our doors has an experience that leaves them wanting to return time and again. Take a quick read. If you have any questions, just get in touch.

Please give us 48 hours' notice to cancel your appointment. Failure to do so may incur a 30% charge for late cancellation or 50% charge for a no show appointment.

To secure an online booking a card is required to be held on file. No payment is taken unless the cancellation policy is not adhered to.

Skin testing is required for all new colour clients

Option 1 Colourstart Passport £12 to onesixeight clients ( rrp £15 )

This is a new and exciting MHRA approved self-application patch test (ColourStart) which offers you a safe and convenient way to test your suitability for a colour service and securely store your results in your personal online portal (Passport).

For future colour services all you have to do is answer the 6 screening questions and if your result is a green "go ahead" tick, you will not need to apply a Colourstart test again! Your Colourstart Passport is valid in any salon / beauty salon who are verified Colourstart salons.

Option 2 Free Allergy Alert Test

For clients not suitable for Colourstart.

The Allergy Alert test needs to be carried out at least 48 hours before a colour service but no sooner than 5 days.

Repeat colour clients are able to complete a Repeat Allergy Alert form to decide if repeat testing is necessary. In most cases skin testing is once per year.

The Alert Alert Test is free of charge at the salon.

Only colour products you have been tested for may be used. Speak to your Hair Professional for more details.

Skin testing is also required for Keratin Complex treatments.

Prices are always POC (price on consultation).  In many cases it relies on multiple services to achieve the desired result. It is advised to book a separate consultation prior to such a service to discuss your options with your stylist. As part of the consultation your stylist will carry out a range of hair tests to check the strength and colour possibilities of the service.

Please attend with as few family members as possible as we have a limited waiting area

If your child becomes distressed during an appointment we may have to stop due to health and safety for both child and stylist  and reschedule to a quite time appointment.

We now offer quiet time appointments for children who get distressed during the haircutting service. Please call the salon on 01937 919417 to arrange an appointment as these are not available online.
